Our premium DuracoatXT finish makes all coated Fastap exterior screw products (Plus and Poly2) completely compatible with the new generation wood preservative treatments now on the market (ACQ, CCA, CBA, and CA). Not all coated fasteners can truthfully make that claim. These new government mandated treatments can significantly shorten the life of previous anticorrosion coatings causing significant fastener rust/corrosion onset much sooner than in the past. With DuracoatXT you get great corrosion resistance when used with these new and more caustic treatments and DuracoatXT is still a tough impact resistant coating that won't peel or strip like ceramic coatings can.
